27th CEEMAN Annual Conference, Wrocław 27th_cac_logo_s

On September 25-27, 2019 in Wrocław, at the Mercure Wrocław Centrum hotel, the 27th CEEMAN Annual Conference entitled Management Education for a Changing World will take place. The CEEMAN conference traditionally includes a series of events aimed at familiarizing with business, political and social realities in the changing modern world and discussing the implications, best practices and cooperation in the field of management development (introductory lectures on business education, international panels, round table discussions and workshops). There are also several accompanying events, such as pre-conference sessions, a poster session, individual Dean2Dean consultancy meetings, the CEEMAN IQA session - International Quality Accreditation, the CEEMAN annual meeting and the CEEMAN Awards ceremony.

Keynote speakers:
Daniel Susskind - an economics scholarship holder at Balliol College, Oxford University, where he studies the impact of technology, especially artificial intelligence on work and society.
Lana Popović - is the President of the Coca-Cola Company branch in Central and Eastern Europe.

The conference is organized jointly with the Wrocław University of Economics (WUE), ranked among the best economic universities in Poland. Founded in 1947, WUE offers accredited Bachelor, Master, MBA and PhD programs in Polish and English, and the total number of students has reached over 11,000 in the last academic year. It is an important center of education, science and research. Wrocław University of Economics or its degree courses are accredited by IQA CEEMAN, ACCA, EPAS, CFA Institute, CIMA, EMOS and PKA.

CEEMAN - International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies
The International Association for the Development of Management in Dynamic Societies, founded in 1993, aims to accelerate the growth of management quality in Central and Eastern Europe. Currently, it is a global network of institutions dealing with management development, interested in the quality of education and innovation in this field, as well as a wide range of topics related to change, with nearly 200 members from 45 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
The main objectives of CEEMAN's activities are:
  • improving the quality of management and development of leadership, in particular in countries undergoing transformation and dynamic changes;
  • providing contact opportunities and a meeting place for management schools and other institutions related to the development of management in order to promote and facilitate cooperation and exchange of experience;
  • providing a platform for dialogue, mutual cooperation and learning between institutions involved in the development of management and enterprises that operate in the field of transformation and dynamic changes;
  • promoting leadership for change, global competitiveness and social responsibility, innovation and creativity, and respect for cultural values.
