The Finance Program with the prestigious EFMD accreditation

We are pleased to announce that the Finance Program has obtained the prestigious EFMD (formerly EPAS) accreditation for both degrees, i.e. bachelor and master degrees for the next three and five years respectively. The program obtained previous accreditations in 2015 and 2018.

Thanks to this accreditation, we've found ourselves in a prestigious global group among 89 universities (from 35 countries). This elite accreditation is held by 161 programs. Currently, we are the only finance program in Poland accredited by EFMD, as well as accredited by ACCA and CFA (triple accreditation).

Prof. Katarzyna Kuziak, manager of the Finance Program, would like to thank all those who have contributed to this success, especially prof. Krzysztof Jajuga - creator and supervisor of the program, Rector prof. Andrzej Kaleta and prof. Magdalena Chmielowiec-Lewczuk.

Prof. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation at the WUEB told us:
- We are very proud to receive EFMD accreditation for Finance Program at the undergraduate level and re-accreditation for Finance at the graduate level. Thus, the Finance Program offered at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is the only financial program in Poland that has EFMD accreditation at both levels of education. We are grateful for the assessment and recommendations of the accreditation committee, which confirmed the high quality of education and indicated directions for further improvement. This significant achievement is the result of the joint effort and dedication of our academic teachers, administrative staff and students, as well as the support of external stakeholders of the university. EFMD accreditation provides our program with international recognition and increases its attractiveness.
