Our PhD student among the winners of the ETIUDA6 competition

Mariusz Maziarz, MSc, PhD student at the Department of Ecological Economics, became one of the 39 winners of the ETIUDA 6 competition. 355 young researchers took part in the competition. ETIUDA is one of the competitions offered by the National Science Center. The results of the competition were announced on July 18, 2018.
Funds for research within the ETIUDA 6 competition were applied for by representatives of various scientific disciplines. The most - 152 applications, were submitted in exact and technical sciences. Experts recommended to finance 64 projects with a total value of nearly PLN 6.5 million.
Mariusz Maziarz, MSc, PhD student at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Wrocław University of Economics, has already been noticed in other competitions. In 2016, he received a W. Styś scholarship for outstanding achievements in the field of social sciences and humanities. In 2016, he won, inter alia, grant of the PRELUDIUM competition, in which the National Science Center finances research projects carried out by people starting a scientific career without a doctoral degree. He is also the laureate of the first place in the fourth edition of the essay competition "Ethics in Finance. The Robin Cosgrove Award”, organized by the Polish Bank Association (ZBP).
