The Diamond Grant for our student!

We are pleased to announce that the student of the Faculty of Economic Sciences Alicja Anna Korenik received the Diamond Grant  - a prestigious award granted annually by the Minister of Science and Higher Education for exceptionally gifted students of master's studies or graduates of first-cycle studies conducting high-level scientific research and possessing outstanding scientific achievements.
Alicja Korenik's grant is entitled "Models of development of smart cities in the perspective of sustainable development". The scientific supervisor of the project is prof. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska.

About the competition:
The winners of the competition were selected from among 243 applicants in a two-stage competition proceeding. In the 8th edition, the expert team chose 85 winners, whose projects received the final grade of no less than 85 points. Scholarship recipients will receive up to 220,000 zł for implementation of their first independent research projects, lasting from 12 to 48 months. During the project implementation, they will be able to receive a remuneration of up to 2,500 zł per month.
