The CGMA® Finance Leadership Program has been launched
at Wroclaw and Poznan Universities of Economics and Business

In late 2020, CIMA® launched the CGMA Finance Leadership Program (FLP) in Poland. Welcome meetings for 2020/21 academic year students were held in December 2020.

The CGMA Finance Leadership Program is a digital-first and self-paced option that enables students to complete the CIMA Professional Qualification and earn the CGMA designation with minimum disruption to their lives. This unique approach and experiential curriculum puts the student at the centre and will differentiate a university from others. Digital features like the Student Dashboard give students a more personalised, experiential learning and assessment experience, with seamless progression visibility. Real-world business simulation exercises help students raise their professional acumen and gain practical insights through applied learning.
The CGMA FLP will help university students acquire the skills that employers demand now and into the future, and prepare them with real-world knowledge and case studies. They will earn a professional qualification at the same time as their degree — setting them apart from their peers, opening them up to a wide range of career options and help them get their first job.
Above all, it will connect them with the local and global networks, communities and resources they need to keep growing, find opportunities and be employable.

The CGMA FLP welcome meetings
In December 2020, CIMA organised welcome meetings where students of Wroclaw and Poznan Universities of Economics and Business (WUEB and PUEB) could meet their peers and listen to their success stories. They heard from Oleksii Chaikovskyi from Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU), who shared his insights from the CGMA Emerging Leaders Competition 2020. Then, Katarzyna Kaliska, CIMA Ambassador and Master's degree student of Business Accounting and Finance at PUEB, shared her experiences with studying CIMA. Last but not least, Viktor Kargin ACMA, CGMA, Finance Processes Improvement Expert, GSK Poland inspired new CGMA FLP students to apply to the best global employers such as accredited by CIMA GlaxoSmithKline, which supported him in passing CIMA exams and becoming the CGMA designation holder.
