Researchers from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business have been recognized in the prestigious ranking of the world's most frequently cited scientists, known as the "World’s Top
2% Scientists", published by Elsevier.
This list of the most frequently cited scientists encompasses
nearly 210,000 researchers from around the world, including over a thousand from Polish research institutions.
In this ranking, which evaluates the overall scientific output over the course of a career,
Professor Dr.
hab. Stanisław Heilpern has been included. Additionally,
Dr. hab. Eng. Arkadiusz
Piwowar has been acknowledged in the list of researchers most frequently cited in 2022.
The compilation of the top 2% most frequently cited scientists in the world is jointly prepared by
analysts from Stanford University, Elsevier publishers, and SciTech Strategies,
based on data from the Scopus database as of October 1, 2023, updated through the end of 2022.
The latest version of the report encompasses over 210,000 authors from 166 countries around the world. It covers the contributions of authors from 22 disciplines and 174 subfields, following the
standard Science-Metrix classification.
