PROM Programme

By the decision of the Polish National Agency for The Academic Exchange Wrocław University of Economics received funding for the amount of 706,929.19 PLN for the PROM Programme - International scholarship exchange for Ph.D. Students and Academic Staff Member. The project was submitted and is coordinating by the Scientific Activity Support Office (COBN).

The implementation of the project enable foreign Ph.D. Students or Academic Staff Member who visit Wrocław University of Economics for:

• 10-days visits for obtaining materials for a Ph.D. thesis/scientific article; carry out measurements with the use of unique equipment or database which is unavailable (or difficult to obtain) in one’s home country; participating in the preparation of an international grant application (4 vacancies for Ph.D. Students)
• 5-days visits for participation in research consultations with experts from the Wrocław University of Economics (seminars, workshops) (6 vacancies for Ph.D. Students and 1 vacancy for Academic Staff Member)
• 8-days visits for conducting classes during the Ph.D. Summer School (3 vacancies for Academic Staff Member)
• 8-days visit for Ph.D. Student Summer School (17 vacancies for Ph.D. Students)

The scholarship covers travel expenses, health insurance, third-party insurance, accident insurance, visa fees and costs of establishing residency and cost of subsistence.
Mobility period: February 2018 – August 2019
