Visiting professor – call for application
Wroclaw University of Economics, Faculty of Management, Computer Science and Finance is pleased to invite applications for Visiting Professors Programme. The call for the 2019 offers positions
to professors from EU and non-EU countries.
Within the frame of the project 203105/E-311/R/2018, financed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education the Wroclaw University of Economics, Faculty of Management, Computer Science and
Finance issues this call to foster the incoming mobility of scholars from universities and research institutions abroad, in order to enhance the quality of and expand its research and didactic
activities during the year 2019.
The herein public call seeks to initiate a mobility process involving international high profile scholars with the purpose of implementing the activities included within the aforementioned
project.
In the light of the above-mentioned project, the Faculty of Management, Computer Science and Finance would expect its Visiting Professors to contribute to the research activities and teaching of
the Faculty, and to foster cooperation between the Faculty and the universities and research institutions of provenance. The Visiting Professor would be a member of AIRT - Autonomic
International Research Team. The aim of the AIRT is to undertake international research project, and to publish the result of the AIRT research, finally.
Financial support:
This call funds scholar mobility. Maximum 10 000 PLN per month for professor from foreign university and 6 000 PLN for professor from other Polish universities including salary, travel
cost, and accommodation.
Duration:
The Visiting Professors are required to stay at the Wrocław University of Economics for a period of 3 months (on the basis of formal agreement) during the year 2019. The visiting professor should
spent a half of that period at the Wroclaw University of Economics, at least.
Eligibility:
Eligible candidates are scholars who, within the deadline for application, fill positions equivalent to those of Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor (PhD
required).
